:: Capitol Theater Wroclaw

This weekend, we have tickets to see Rufus Wainwright right here in Wroclaw! Yeah! The concert wasn't really advertised at all and I have no idea how we found out about it, but hallelujah we did :) Anyways, the show is being held at the recently renovated Capitol Theater. I went to check out the renovations last summer but haven't posted about them yet. So in honor of Rufus, here's a quick look at the Capital Theater.
The inside is very red, with lots of different seating areas.
Guests can enjoy coffee, wine and other snacks in the main lobby.

They also have Polish Scrabble (and other games) available in the lobby, which I thought was kinda interesting.
The best thing about the building is the ceiling.
Oh, and the exterior doors are kinda cool, too :)

  2. Where did you get tickets from? There is no need to advertise anything in this Theater. You cannot really buy any tickets.

    1. We walked to the box office at the theatre a few weeks ago and purchased tickets in person. I hope that helps you in the future :)

  3. Hi,
    did you enjoy the concert tonight? It was fantastic! But... by the way; do you know whose birthday it was :) ?
    It was Leszek Możdżer birthday, great Polish musician, jazz pianist. If you do not know him, you can find some info at http://www.mozdzer.com/
    You can see him in Wrocław soon : 06.04.2014 Możdżer Danielsson Fresco Jazz nad Odrą

    kind regards
